Executive Summary

IMS won a competitive tender for fire stopping remedial works at a popular NHS Trust. We were granted the contract after demonstrating our experience, expertise and stellar referrals from our other clients

The Works

We were contracted by our clients in an NHS Trust to complete urgent fire stopping works throughout the entire hospital reinstating fire compartments.

The Problem

The challenge with this task was not the work itself but being able to do the remedial works to our high standard and to the hospitals requirements without interfering with patients or staff and keeping our engineers safe in a Pandemic.

The Solution

While engaging in the remedial works our engineers made sure not to disturb the running of the very busy hospital while abiding by critical health and safety conditions. During this time our engineers were tested for COVID and undertook the utmost care with PPE.

The Results

The remedial works were completed within the requested time frame, avoiding unavailability for the Trust and our engineers final COVID testing for this project was negative, re-enforcing our protection protocols are safe and accurate.
